Long Term Projects

For programs over 12 months of duration, USRF will issue "calls for proposals". Russian, US, or international non-commercial organizations, as well as Russian government institutions will be eligible to apply. Applicants will need to show co-funding from a Russian institution or organization in order to be eligible for USRF funding.

The specific requirements for these grants will be included in the "calls for proposals".

The EURECA Program

The EURECA Program is funded by the US-Russia Foundation for Economic Advancement and the Rule of Law (USRF). The program is being carried out in partnership with the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and is aligned with the priorities of the national "Education" project and federal program supporting national research universities.

Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE)

The Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) is an entrepreneurship development organization launched in 2002 and based in Moscow, with centers in St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod. CFE focuses on three areas. One, it trains and organizes network learning events for Russian entrepreneurs who have the desire and ability to grow their businesses. Two, it supports entrepreneurship education in Russian schools and universities by training Russian faculty in how to teach entrepreneurship and by initiating and supporting the Russian Association of Entrepreneurship Education. And three, CFE acts as a catalyst and assists other organizations throughout Russia in promoting and creating a healthy climate for entrepreneurship in Russia.

Yegor Gaidar Scholarship Programs

The Yegor Gaidar Fellowship Program in Economics supports the long-term development of Russia's market economy by providing opportunities for leading Russian economists to conduct collaborative research with U.S. economic experts. The program aims to strengthen the human capacity at Russian institutions in developing entrepreneurship, economic diversification, technological innovation, and globalization.

The Yegor gaidar Summer Leadership Program, a joint project with the Yegor Gaidar Foundation, enables young Russian leaders (3rd and 4th-year university students) from the Russian regions to acquire the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary for building a dynamic market economy. The priority areas are economics and entrepreneurship.

Junior Achievement Russia Youth Program

This project is aimed to help students to make more informed career decisions and be better able to choose among post-secondary education options. It will also help them develop cultural sensitivity which is essential in the global business arena.

The target group of this project is: 30,000 young people aged 15-19, 1,000 entrepreneurs and employees from the business and industry communities and public sector, and 600 teachers. Additional website visitors and attendees at the events will make a total of up to 1,000,000.

The project will last for three years - from 2013 to 2016.
